    Thanks for that, we are looking at making our home more energy efficient but the initial outlay can be quite expensive. I know that in the long run this is paid off by the savings you make and i believe that there are some grants available to help with the cost. Just need to convince the hubby it will save us money!

    There is a great video I came across in my searching for info which people might like to look at. It is about a developer of Cornish eco houses. It covers lots of stuff including how the heat pumps work and solar panels etc.
