today it has become necessary for us all to be aware that power should be saved to benefit all.

One method of doing this is an alternate energy source, and in this report, I would like to expand on the idea of solar panels with the grid tie inverter.

The electricity made by the solar panel of around 20 volts could be from any other renewable resource such as hydro electricity.

Saving cash in the home means this generated voltage has to be changed to the customary house power level.

The DC from the solar panel is changed by the grid tie inverter into the AC that is used in the home.

The grid tie inverter is designed so that it does not need special boxes to connect to the mains, but simply needs to be plugged into a wall socket. Connecting to the mains is controlled by the inverter electronics.

So the straight forward combination of, solar panel and grid tie inverter will supply the home with power, which you would have to buy from a company, for all the time the sun was shining.

Because current can only flow when the house power in on the grid tie inverter has a built in safety factor. This safety factor means power cannot be fed back up the power lines. But if the power fails the grid tie automatically disconnects.

If more power is needed, more solar panels are used, and the grid ties are stackable to let more current flow into the household. Any extra power not required by the household will cause the meter to run in reverse this will make a saving in the bills due.

The equipment is good value and needs no professionals to connect to the house making a straight forward and effective cash saving system. Nomally the solar panel would charge batteries and a power inverter would feed electricity to the household from them. useful at night but costs more in setting up.

I think the grid tie is the most cost effective way to save money and provide electricity in the house, it may not be a way to replace the power company, but it will save money.
